OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for completing the inspection of all incoming materials.


  • Maintain work area in accordance with GMPs
  • Perform the incoming QC inspection of materials, including:
    o drug products
    o medical devices
    o primary packaging components
    o secondary packaging components
    o label stock
    o clinical labels
  • Assist with end of job inspections for batch records
  • Assist with development of standard operating procedures, data capture forms and
    other associated QA/QC documents
  • Enter and verify data in the Inventory Control System (ICS)
  • Revise documents in ZenQMS
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skill

  • Strong understanding of GMPs
  • Effective time management skills
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry


  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to warehouse and operations (packaging) environments including regular exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
