We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support our growth in US of assistive technology to visually impaired, people with reading difficulties and blind people. The job includes responsibilities to manage all financial transactions, including accounts receivables and payables, regulatory and financial reporting, supporting external accountant with tax calculations and returns in multiple states, supporting payroll processing.

Responsibilities

Manage all accounting transactions including Billing (B2C B2B in North America), A/R, A/P, GL.

Prepare and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and supporting external accountant with tax filings in multiple states (Federal tax, state tax, Sales tax).

Monitor the company’s accounts receivable, maintaining receivables aging report and identify overdue accounts.

Contact customers with overdue accounts for collection of overdue amounts.

Examine bank statements and reconcile them daily with general ledger entries.

Ensure timely bank payments.

Coordinate the payroll processing including employee related benefits.

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Support month-end and year-end close process.

Support the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Job requirements:

Proven Bookkeeping experience.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.

In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping processes, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Knowledge of tax compliance.

Strong attention to detail.

Good excel skills.

ERP knowledge

Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
